FOX Sports Digital is looking for a Freelance Associate Technical Producer Streaming, Digital Studio Production to serve as a Director/Technical Director for in studio content working in tandem with other members of the production team in planning, preparation, and execution across a variety of Digital around the World Cup. The Associate Technical Producer Streaming is a self-starter and comfortable working in a small team environment and executing productions on occasion with little support. The Associate Technical Producer Streaming will also help coordinate usage of the studio across key stakeholders as well as interface with different groups across the Fox Sports organization.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Direct, TD, and Assistant Direct live and taped digital content in a studio environment
  • Stream produce and live-stream digital content to social media platforms on a regular basis
  • Ensure proper file management of show records within file management system
  • Operate robotic cameras as needed
  • Assist with managing studio logistics across departments when needed
  • Coordinate with producers, editors, and social producers on desired look and feel of various content

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • 5+ years of studio production experience as a director, technical director or assistant director
  • Experience with Newtek Tricaster Switchers, VMIX, and other related workflows.
  • Experience with file management and media asset management
  • Experience live-streaming events on social media platforms, such as YouTube, Twitter and Facebook
  • Knowledge of Ross Overdrive, Ultrix Acuity and relevant automated television switcher workflows
  • Knowledge of AWS Media Live
  • Vast knowledge of sports
  • Familiarity with iNews or other related rundown software
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Desire to learn new technologies, processes and/or procedures as they are implemented
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to "one-man band" in the control room; including technical directing, audio, playback, and graphics
  • Ability to work well and make sound decisions quickly in an ever-changing, fast-paced sports production environment
  • Ability to multitask and work well within a group
  • Ability to work weekends/nights as needed as shedules will vary by season with sports

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $32.69-36.54 per hour.
