Job Title: Design Draftsman Location: Cayce, SC. High Level Project Overview: This position would provide drafting services to our two measurement engineering employees. The typical process would be our measurement engineers provide a high-level isometric drawing and the drafter would convert this to a fabrication drawing. Top 3 Required Skills: Strong CAD drafting abilities (AutoCAD) Knowledge/experience in utility, plant, or industrial environment Accountability and ownership of their role and how that fits into our station projects Skills: Manual technical drawing and computer assisted drawing; verbal and written communication; graphics reproduction equipment. Soft skill requirements: Strong communication skills both verbal and written Ability to lead, collaborate, or work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams Education: Engineering Tech (2-year) degree (not required, but preferred) Education: Minimum HS Diploma Required. Are there any specific companies/industries you'd like to see in the candidate's experience? Utility, industrial, plant Require related experience. Basic knowledge of drafting principles. Full knowledge of computer skills for CAD system. Full knowledge of math and mechanical, electrical or civil drawings. Basic knowledge of company mapping methods.
