Description

The Fitness Instructor (Yoga Sculpt) leads highenergy group fitness classes that blend yoga, strength training, and cardio to improve participants' strength, endurance, flexibility, and overall fitness. This role delivers clear, motivating instruction while demonstrating proper form, offering progressions and modifications, and maintaining a safe workout environment. The instructor creates an engaging class experience that challenges participants, builds consistency, and supports measurable fitness progress.

This position will work 1-2 days per week 6-7pm or depending on the time of the class out of our Staples location.

Twin Cities Orthopedics is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare.

Essential Job Functions:



  • Lead safe, highenergy Yoga Sculpt classes that combine yoga, strength training, and cardio to improve overall fitness.
  • Design and deliver structured classes, including warmups, strength sequences, cardio intervals, and cooldowns.
  • Demonstrate proper technique and provide clear cues, modifications, and progressions for varying fitness levels.
  • Use fitness technology (e.g., Mindbody) to check clients in, manage attendance, sell class packages, and process payments.
  • Create a motivating and inclusive class environment that encourages consistency and participant engagement.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision to prepare for and deliver classes consistently and professionally.
  • Monitor participant safety and respond appropriately to questions, concerns, or form corrections during class.
  • Set up, clean, and maintain studio and gym equipment to ensure a safe and professional workout space.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Education and Experience:



  • Current Yoga Instructor certification or equivalent.
  • Group fitness instruction experience, with the ability to lead strength and cardiobased workouts safely.
  • Knowledge of proper exercise technique, form, and injury prevention principles.
  • CPR/AED and First Aid certification is preferred.

Working Conditions:



  • Frequently lift up to 50 pounds independently and occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
  • Requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, and move continuously throughout the shift.
  • Must be able to frequently perform physical activities such as pushing, pulling, and reaching.
  • Visual acuity to read electronic and paper documents.
  • Auditory ability to participate in phone or video calls clearly.
  • Manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment (e.g., computer, phone, printer).
