PURPOSE:


Lead and develop a team of plant accountants responsible for site accounting, reporting, controls, and business partnering for the Louisiana specialty product facilities. Ensure accurate financial performance, strong compliance, and delivery of actionable insights that support operational decisionmaking.


KEY OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Lead site month-end close, financial reporting, and SOX compliance activities
  • Manage and mentor the accounting team(s) for each plant to build capabilities and accountability
  • Develop driver-based budget and forecast processes to align with operational goals
  • Produce KPI dashboards and financial analyses for site leadership review
  • Coordinate with accounting leadership to update accounting policies and procedures as needed to ensure consistency
  • Partner with operations to identify cost and working-capital optimization opportunities
  • Other duties as assigned


REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCES:



  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 7+ years of accounting experience, including 5+ years in site leadership
  • Proficiency in ERP platforms and advanced Excel, SAP preferred
  • Knowledge of manufacturing cost flows and GAAP, public company experience preferred.
