Job Description

Job Summary: The Thermoforming Automation Maintenance Technician ensures efficient operation, reliability, and continuous improvement of thermoforming automation systems. This role focuses specifically on the equipment and processes involved in product packaging, product handling, and all associated automated machinery

Responsibilities include:

  • Performing daily inspections
  • Conducting preventative maintenance
  • Troubleshooting issues
  • Completing repairs and executing automation-related projects.
  • Makes informed decisions and identifies improvement opportunities that support both immediate repair needs and long-term MEEF (Manufacturing Equipment Efficiency) enhancements, aligning with the goals of the Thermoforming Maintenance Department.
  • Ensuring equipment runs efficiently
  • Handles and packages products correctly
  • Consistently produces highquality output while promoting a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a maintenance role.
  • Proven ability to lead repairs.
  • Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
  • Strong understanding of thermoforming equipment, maintenance practices, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven dependability, reliability, and multitasking abilities.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
  • Specific knowledge of manufacturing, mechanical, and electrical systems.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Essential Physical Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
  • Tolerance to work around grease, oils, inks, and solvents.
  • Ability to climb ladders and use necessary tools and equipment for repairs.
  • Capability to stand, walk, bend, or stoop throughout the shift.
  • Good manual dexterity.
  • 20/20 vision with correction to detect minor defects.
  • Ability to differentiate colors.

Starting Pay $29.00/hr plus shift differential
