Job Description

AUTHORITY: Is hereby given to the employee by the Facility Maintenance Shift Lead, Facility Maintenance Coordinator, or Facility Maintenance Supervisor to carry out the responsibilities and any other duties as directed. Included but not limited to

LOTO de-energized Equipment STOP work. Blood-Borne Clean up

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ability to read and write in English
  • Able to drive and operate a scissor lift and fork truck
  • Able to perform manual labor tasks as assigned
  • Work In a safe manner in accordance to federal and company policies
  • Must have knowledge of LOTO and Arc Flash
  • Able to follow federal and company policies and procedures
  • Proven ability to work as a team
  • Ability to be self-motivated and work with minimal supervision
  • Attend department and plant meeting and training
  • Ability to read and interpret machine prints
  • Must have basic computer skills
  • Must have familiarity with most hand and power tools
  • Must have experience with the following:

Electrical (required)

Mechanical (required)

Pneumatic (optional)

Plumbing (optional)

HVAC (optional)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma/GED equivalent.
  • Positive attitude and the ability to work with others.
  • Honest, dependable, and motivated.
  • Good math skills.
  • Good problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Must have good communications skills, written and verbal.
  • Must know how to use basic measuring tools and power tools
  • Have a valid Driver's license.
  • Mechanical ability.
  • Must provide own hand tools.
  • Forklift experience preferred

PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds.
  • Ability to work around grease, oils, and solvents without adverse reactions.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and squat throughout 12 hr entire shift.
  • Ability to work from heights, including ascending/descending ladders
  • Ability to wear all provided personal protective equipment Ability to work in high noise environment

Starting Pay $29.00/hr plus shift differential
