Join us as our new Training Specialist

The Training Coordinator will be responsible for assisting in the planning, development, and implementation of training programs to ensure the continuous learning and development of our employees. This role, reporting into the Production Manager, requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.

Training Coordinator responsibilities include communicating with area managers to align on training needs and support them on creating development plans for teams and individuals. This position is also responsible to participate in customer complaint investigations, including determination of corrective actions and sustainment of the identified corrective actions.

In this role you'll make an impact by:

  • Obtaining the TWI (Training Within Industry) Job Instruction certification as an instructor.
  • Delivering TWI training sessions as needed (Management, Spot the talent, Train the trainer).
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of training programs, including curriculum development, training materials preparation, and scheduling.
  • Coordinating training logistics, such as venue booking, equipment setup, and participant registration.
  • Communicating training schedules and details to employees, ensuring clarity and understanding.
  • Supporting & coaching trainers within each department, across all production shifts.
  • Monitoring training program effectiveness (KPIs) and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Obtaining certification as C-One champion in order to maintain training records and ensure compliance of regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborating with subject matter experts and area management to identify training needs and develop relevant content.
  • Assisting in creating/maintaining skill matrices for all departments in Production, across all three shifts.
  • Participating in customer complaint investigations and support findings and corrective actions where appropriate.
  • Being a champion and subject matter expert (SME) of problem solving both at the floor level and to support investigations from NCRs.
To succeed you must hold:
  • Proven work experience as a Training Coordinator, Trainer, Training Facilitator, or similar role.
  • Proven ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, deliver, and monitor).
  • Ability to lead without authority.
  • Familiarized with TWI job training methods and techniques.
  • Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments and training events.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and learning management systems (LMS, such as OneMS).
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, delivering expected results on time.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design concepts is a plus.
  • These characteristics are normally acquired through bachelor's degree in education, training, HR(P&O) or related field, or equivalent experience.

Expected salary range:$75,000-$90,000 based on experience

Working Conditions

Working environment is generally favorable and in an office setting Lighting, temperature and noise levels are adequate. Generally sedentary work but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of work time. May need PPE, including hearing protection, hair/beard net, lab jacket, safety glasses, gloves and safety shoes when in production areas.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk, hear, use hands to finger, handle or touch objects, keyboard and occasionally lift up to 10 lbs. Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this job include vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
