IT Senior Analyst - Disaster Recovery F_IT COMMAND CENTER Full Time 88191BR Job Summary The Senior Analyst, Disaster Recovery is a pivotal role within the Information Technology department, reporting directly to the IT Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Program Manager. The primary duty of this role is to support the formulation, execution, and ongoing refinement of the organization's Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies and protocols. The Senior Analyst will assist in crafting comprehensive disaster recovery plans, conducting regular risk assessments to pinpoint vulnerabilities, and integrating these plans with current IT systems and practices. They will also coordinate and conduct DR tests to ensure the efficacy of recovery strategies, document outcomes, maintain compliance with industry standards, and manage training programs to enhance staff awareness and preparedness for disaster scenarios. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. The annual salary range for this position is $90,700 to $193,500, with a target entry point of $123,600+ depending on experience. This team is dedicated to ensuring seamless access to essential IT resources, thereby enabling continuous and vital research work that has a profound impact on human health and well-being. Incident Command's mission is to manage any major IT incidents, such as data breaches or network failures, effectively and swiftly. These incidents could pose potential disruptions to the ongoing research. Operating around the clock, the team's primary objective is to restore standard operations promptly, minimizing any possible disruption to the researchers' work. The Incident Command team collaborates to diagnose the issue, evaluate its potential impact on research activities, strategize an appropriate solution, and oversee the resolution process. The team documents the incident for future learning, ensuring efficient incident management. Required Qualifications
