Monday - Friday 8 AM - 4 PM

Starting Pay is $26.11 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training / DailyPay Available

As a Security Officer in Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will be the first point of contact for employees and visitors, supporting a welcoming, professional entry experience. You will manage access control, verify credentials, monitor cameras and alarms, document activity, and communicate clearly with staff during security-related situations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Operate the front desk by greeting and directing visitors, managing visitor check-in and/or badge processes, and maintaining access control logs in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and other access control systems from the reception area, and communicate unusual activity or policy concerns to site management and/or appropriate responders to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with evacuations, medical response notifications, and coordination with local authorities when requested.
• Complete shift documentation such as incident reports, activity logs, and pass-down notes, and support audits by maintaining organized records and communicating key updates during shift transitions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
