Job Description




As a Airport Security Officer - Ramp Patrol in Honolulu, HI, you will safeguard the airport, staff, and it's facilities. Along with driving, patrolling, checking, and securing doors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication to all visitors and staff. Position Type: Part Time - Overnight

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $1.96. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Requirements:

    Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
  • 21+ years of age
  • Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
  • Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government transportation facility.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting the appropriate public agency personnel and/or Allied Universal management as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, curbside areas, parking locations, and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
  • Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification, directing authorized personnel and/or visitors, and documenting entries, exits, and deliveries per site policy.
  • Complete written and/or electronic reports on patrol observations, incidents, and customer interactions, and communicate updates during shift turnover to support continuity of operations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be able to ride a bike.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
