Security Officer - Patrol Driver - Full Time

As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver - Full Time in Bensenville, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed, driving patrol officer at a leading tech, media, and telecom location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, complete detailed reports, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. You will support access control, respond to alarms and/or requests for assistance, and deliver clear, professional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and site visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a tech and telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site contacts and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout office, lab, and common areas and around the building perimeter, noting unusual activity and reporting conditions that could impact operations.
• Control access to the location by monitoring entry points, verifying visitor identification and/or authorization, issuing temporary badges, and directing guests to appropriate destinations per site policy.
• Complete security-related reports and daily activity logs, communicate shift updates during turnover, and assist with monitoring cameras and/or alarm systems in accordance with post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
