Job Description




As a Airport Security Officer - Park Team in Honolulu, HI, you will safeguard the airport, staff, and it's facilities. Along with driving, patrolling, checking, and securing doors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication to all visitors and staff. Position Type: Full Time - Overnight

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $1.96. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Requirements:

    Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
  • 21+ years of age
  • Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
  • Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and approved security-related procedures at a government aviation facility.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, parking areas, roadways, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by assignment.
  • Monitor access points and restricted areas by checking credentials, directing foot and vehicle traffic as needed, and reporting suspicious or prohibited activity per site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate authorities and/or onsite personnel and supporting emergency response activities as directed.
  • Complete shift logs and incident reports, communicate observations to supervisors and/or client representatives, and assist with crowd control and customer inquiries when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
