Mailroom & Delivery Worker - JLL What this job involves: At JLL, we're seeking a dedicated Mailroom & Delivery Worker to serve as the backbone of our daily mail and package operations. This essential role ensures the safe, accurate, and efficient handling of all incoming and outgoing correspondence, packages, and materials while providing exceptional service to internal departments and external partners. You'll operate in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where attention to detail and organizational excellence directly impact facility operations. This position offers the opportunity to develop logistics expertise while supporting critical communication and delivery functions that keep our workplace running smoothly. What your day-to-day will look like: * Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages to appropriate departments and individuals while managing personnel mailbox labeling and inventory * Process outgoing mail by weighing, metering, labeling, and preparing items for shipment in accordance with postal and shipping regulations * Support daily delivery operations including receiving, staging, and releasing packages while coordinating with courier services and internal stakeholders * Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles using proper material handling techniques and maintaining organized staging areas * Verify shipments for accuracy, damage, and proper documentation prior to acceptance or release while ensuring timely material movement * Follow company policies, SOPs, and work instructions while maintaining clean, safe work areas and promptly reporting any incidents or discrepancies * Provide professional customer service support to employees, couriers, vendors, and delivery drivers regarding mail status and delivery inquiries Required Qualifications: * Valid driver's license and high school diploma or equivalent * Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds with proper material handling techniques * Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy * Proficiency with basic computer applications including MS Office and email systems * Good communication and interpersonal skills for professional interaction with diverse personnel * Physical ability to perform job functions including lifting, bending, standing, walking, and moving materials safely Preferred Qualifications: * Previous experience in mailroom, shipping, or receiving environment * Knowledge of inventory management practices and procedures * Experience using package tracking or scanning systems * Customer service experience in a professional setting * Familiarity with postal regulations and shipping procedures * Experience working in a team-based, fast-paced environment Location: Onsite Work Shift: Day shift (specific hours to be determined based on operational needs) Salary: $44,000 - $45,000 This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Estimated compensation for this position: 44,000.00 - 45,000.00 USD per yearThis range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
