Overview LMI is seeking an experiencedEmbedded Systems Engineerwith a minimum of an active SECRET clearance and at least 3 years of demonstrated experience to support the United States Army. This role focuses on the design, development, and integration of low-level software and firmware for tactical hardware and sensor systems. You will work directly with US Army mission partners to bridge the gap between physical hardware and cloud-based digital solutions for the Warfighter. The ideal candidate is adept at programming for resource-constrained environments, with a strong understanding ofReal-Time Operating Systems (RTOS), hardware abstraction layers, and secure firmware development. You should be comfortable working at the intersection of hardware and software, collaborating closely with platform engineers to integrate edge devices into broaderDevSecOps pipelinesand cloud-native architectures.
