The Opportunity

Ulteig is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Project Coordinator at Ulteig for the Water & Environment (W&E) department. At Ulteig, the Project Coordinator plays an integral role in supporting the day-to-day execution of projects. This role involves administrative responsibilities and a focus on maintaining effective project controls. Water & Environment leads some of the most innovative technology-driven projects across our industry.

What You'll Do

Project Coordination & Administration



  • Manage project setup, maintenance, and closeout. Provide administrative support for contract management, including reviewing and tracking contract deliverables
  • Facilitate communication within project teams to ensure smooth project operations
  • Assist Project Managers and technical staff with general responsibilities and tasks as delegated.


Process & Documentation Management



  • Prepare and distribute project documentation, including meeting minutes, status reports, and presentations
  • Maintain organized records of project documents, ensuring all stakeholders have access to the latest information
  • Assist Project Managers with monthly invoicing and progress reporting
  • Support the administration of project contracts, subcontracts, and amendments
  • Support the project team by coordinating meetings, workshops, and other project-related activities
  • Effectively initiate and implement process changes as necessary


Scheduling & Cost Planning



  • Support the project manager in the preparation and management of project schedules, budgets, and financial reports
  • Proactively identify trends and potential project issues regarding resource planning, schedule, scope, and budget and work with the Project Team to support a risk management strategy
  • Maintain project schedule and budget updates throughout the lifecycle of the project
  • Identify and track potential project risks to support the Project Manager in risk management


Team Effectiveness



  • Proactively identify work assignments that need to be completed
  • Build relationships with the Project Team to foster communication and trust
  • Adhere to Ulteig governance policies and procedures for project success



What We Expect from You



  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, Environmental Science, Natural Resources, or equivalent experience
  • 1+ years of experience in project administration or a related role, preferably working on engineering or planning projects
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and project management software (e.g., MS Project)
  • Basic understanding of project management and project controls
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Microsoft Dynamics (Finance & Operations) experience is a plus
  • Demonstrates openness to innovation by embracing and applying evolving technology and AI tools to enhance workflows, solve problems, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Must have authorization to work permanently in the U.S.

    Additional Opportunity Details:
    Target Base Compensation Range for this role is $32.21 - $43.56/hour
    * Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your job-specific skills, education, training, job location, number of years of experience related to this role, and comparison to other employees already in this role.

    This position will be posted for a minimum of 3 days and will continue to be posted for an average of 60 days until a qualified applicant is selected or the position has been cancelled.
