Clinical & Education Coordinator- Anesthesia West Bloomfield Full Time Days

Administers intravenous, inhalation, and regional anesthetics to render persons insensible to pain during surgical procedures, obstetrical deliveries, or other medical and dental procedures. Potentially administers anesthesia to all ages and A.S.A. classes of patients, including geriatrics and pediatrics. Provides airway management services as needed throughout the hospital. Facilitates the coordination, scheduling, and activities of the assigned CRNAs.

• Administers intravenous, inhalation, and regional anesthetics during surgical, obstetrical, medical, and dental procedures.

• Provides anesthesia care to patients of all ages and A.S.A. classifications, including pediatric and geriatric populations.

• Provides airway management services as needed throughout the hospital.

• Facilitates the coordination, scheduling, and activities of assigned CRNAs.

• Driving may be required, dependent on specialty.

• Frequent walking, bending, and lifting may be required to perform duties.

• Work is generally performed in an operating room environment but may also occur in Radiology, ICU, ER, or wherever nurse anesthesia services are required within the hospital.

• Working conditions are variable, with exposure to communicable diseases and other hazards.

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, with current licensure to practice in Michigan as a Registered Nurse.

• Graduation from an accredited school of anesthesia.

• Minimum of three (3) years of clinical anesthesia experience.

• Supervisory experience preferred.
