Assistant Site Manager

Position Overview:

This position will be located at our Girard OH location.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborates with Site Manager to supervise the staff at the site including safety, maintenance and operations employees
• Assists in coordinating the Safety/ISO Program
• Assists with purchasing, maintenance administration, financial forecasting and other administrative tasks
• Ensures site compliance to Company maintenance and safety programs
• Responsible for the site operation when the Site Manager is not available

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Construction Mgmt. or related field required (suitable experience may replace degree requirement)
• At least 3 years' prior supervisory experience preferred
• Experience with processing plants in a rock quarry or slag processing plant is a plus
• Knowledge of heavy equipment operations including loaders and excavators helpful.
• Experience administering a formal safety and maintenance program preferred
• Prior experience working with a maintenance department is desirable
• Must be computer literate and familiar with the Microsoft Office package including Excel spreadsheets.
