Stoneridge Software is seeking a Senior Consultant to provide strategic leadership and guide clients through successful implementations of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) and the Power Platform.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned business analyst with deep CRM expertise and extensive hands-on experience configuring and deploying Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform technologies, including Sales, Customer Service, Customer Insights - Journeys, Field Service, Power Pages, and Copilot/Copilot Studio. You excel at turning business challenges into scalable, intuitive, and high-impact solutions.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with clients to understand their goals, design future-ready solutions, and lead high-quality implementations that drive meaningful business outcomes. As a Senior Consultant, you will lead business process design and integration efforts across transformation programs and major initiatives. You operate with autonomy, engage cross-functional teams, assess upstream and downstream impacts, and translate business needs into actionable future-state recommendations.
You serve as the bridge between current-state operations and future-state capabilities, representing functional needs, identifying gaps, and ensuring sustainable change through collaboration, communication, and proactive stakeholder engagement. You bring strong analytical and problem-solving skills, communicate clearly both verbally and in writing, and thrive whether working independently or as part of a collaborative team.
A Day in the Life
    • Partner with client stakeholders to co-create a shared vision, learning how teams work today and identifying opportunities, including AI and automation to elevate and streamline processes.
    • Lead discovery to uncover requirements, analyze current-state processes and roles, and translate needs into clear features, user stories, and a prioritized backlog.
    • Guide clients as their primary functional advisor, offering best practices across Dynamics 365 CE, Power Platform, and change adoption.
    • Develop future-state solution designs that reflect business goals across workflows, data models, reporting, security, and integrations.
    • Document functional specifications, design decisions, and future-state processes to ensure alignment and clarity across teams.
    • Maintain and structure requirements in Azure DevOps using Epics, Features, and Tasks, and writing clear, actionable User Stories with measurable Acceptance Criteria to ensure alignment and high-quality delivery.
    • Configure Dynamics 365 CE modules to optimize workflows and empower users, always grounding configuration choices in people and process first and then technology.
    • Customize entities, forms, views, workflows, business rules, dashboards, and reports to reflect client-specific needs, while identifying opportunities to leverage AI/Copilot and Power Platform tools.
    • Establish data governance, security roles, compliance standards, and environment best practices that support sustainable operations.
    • Collaborate closely with solution architects, developers, and external partners to integrate D365 CE with EPR, marketing, service, or other business systems.
    • Adapt delivery practices within the Proven Process to fit each client's culture, pacing, and readiness.
    • Validate solutions through functional testing grounded in the business processes and defined success criteria.
    • Lead stakeholder demonstrations that reinforce understanding, alignment, and confidence in the solution, translating technology choices into business impact.
    • Participate in project planning and checkpoint ceremonies, offering functional insight that ensures predictable, low-friction delivery across teams.
    • Support readiness and cutover planning by making sure people, process, and technology changes are understood and aligned.
    • Drive user adoption through targeted enablement, delivering training, workshops, and hands-on support that equips people to succeed on day one.
    • Monitor system performance and business usage, recommending improvements that enhance scalability, efficiency, and process maturity over time.
    • Maintain a continuous-improvement mindset, guiding clients on new Dynamics 365 and Power Platform capabilities, modernization opportunities, and evolving AI-driven enhancements.
Preferred Qualifications
    • 8+ years implementing, configuring, and customizing Microsoft Dynamics CRM/Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement.
    • 5+ years delivering solutions leveraging the Power Platform.
    • Associate's or bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
    • Demonstrated ability to design innovative, scalable solutions that address complex business requirements and streamline or automate business processes.
    • Strong skills in requirements elicitation, business process modeling, data analysis, project support, QA/testing, user training, risk management, documentation, wireframing, integration planning, and knowledge sharing.
    • Proficiency with tools including Azure DevOps, Visio, Power BI, Power Apps Studio, Power Platform Admin Center, PowerPoint, and Copilot Studio.
    • Hands-on experience with CRM versions 2011, 2013, 2015, 2016, and Dynamics 365 CE, plus Power Platform components.
    • Knowledge of workflow and integration between applications such as Dynamics 365 Business Central, Dynamics 365 Finance, or Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management.
    • Industry experience in Agriculture, Industrial Machinery, Construction, or Specialty Construction.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to travel to unanticipated client sites nationwide as needed.
    • Ability to communicate effectively in both spoken and written English

    • Work Location: This position is available remotely in the United States or remotely in the following Canadian Provinces: Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, and Ontario.
    • Travel Required:Incumbent is expected to attend industry eventsacross the United States and Canada (up to 25%).

Compensation
    • Our philosophy is to provide compensation that is Competitive, Equitable, and Driven by Performance. Various factors impact our pay ranges including market conditions and national salary data. To determine competitive salaries within this range we consider candidates skills, qualifications, and experience. These are national ranges, inclusive of bonus opportunities and could represent multiple role levels.
    • US (USD): $130,500-$164,500
      Canada (CAD): C$124,600-C$149,500
