Department OverviewContinuous Improvement Job Description

The Industrial Engineer will serve as a key catalyst for operational excellence within the Continuous Improvement team. This role is responsible for designing, optimizing, and sustaining integrated systems that harmonize human capital, advanced technology, and material flow. You will bridge the gap between theoretical process design and shop-floor execution to drive measurable gains in productivity and cost reduction.

Key Responsibilities:

You will ensure that every resource is utilized to its maximum potential through rigorous capacity planning and layout optimization.

  • Work Studies & Data Analytics: Lead the collection and analysis of operational data. You will perform time-and-motion studies, ergonomic assessments, and bottleneck analysis to identify root causes of inefficiency and quantify improvement opportunities.

  • Lean Leader: You will serve as a mentor to production staff on Lean concepts, promoting the efficiency and fostering a culture of Lean thinking and continuous improvement.

  • Cross-Functional Project Leadership: Manage CI projects from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with year-over-year efficiency targets and safety standards.

  • Operational Agility: Perform other duties as assigned to support the evolving needs of the factory and strategic engineering initiatives.

Certification: Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt preferred.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD/SolidWorks), ERP systems, and statistical analysis tools (Minitab/Excel).
