Role and Responsibilities: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Landscaping Tractor Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will operate a variety of landscaping tractors and equipment to perform tasks such as grading, leveling, and maintaining outdoor spaces.



  • Work closely with the landscaping team, which consists of individuals of all abilities.

  • Conduct daily inspections of equipment to identify any potential malfunctions or necessary mower blade replacements.

  • Operate and maintain a variety of landscaping machinery, including tractors, mowers, skid-steers, excavators, and other related equipment.

  • Utilize machinery to transport and distribute materials, plants, and other landscaping supplies efficiently.

  • Follow all established safety protocols and guidelines while operating equipment and performing landscaping duties.

  • Promptly report any equipment malfunctions, accidents, or safety concerns to supervisors for resolution.

  • Maintain clear and effective communication with supervisors, clients, and team members to ensure smooth operations.

  • Coordinate with Crew Leaders on a daily basis to provide updates on completed areas and tasks.

  • Ensure compliance with safety requirements by consistently wearing all necessary protective gear as specified by CW Resources.


Qualifications:



  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

  • Proven experience operating landscaping tractors and heavy equipment.

  • Ability to perform routine maintenance on equipment.

  • Basic understanding of landscape design and construction techniques.

  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.


Preferred Skills:



  • Certification in tractor operation or related field.

  • Experience with GPS systems for landscaping machinery.

  • Knowledge of irrigation systems and landscape drainage.

  • Experience with soil testing and grading.

  • Ability to read blueprints or landscape plans.


Physical Demands:



  • Ability to lift up, push or pull up to 25 pounds or more.

  • Stamina to work long hours outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, rain, etc.).

  • Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods.

  • Ability to operate heavy machinery and perform manual labor as needed.

  • Reasonable accommodations can be provided.


Environmental Demands:



  • Outdoor work in a variety of weather conditions (rain, sun, cold temperatures).

  • Work may involve uneven terrain and remote locations.

  • Occasional exposure to noise, dust, and allergens.
