Get to know Okta

Okta is The World's Identity Company. We free everyone to safely use any technology, anywhere, on any device or app. Our flexible and neutral products, Okta Platform and Auth0 Platform, provide secure access, authentication, and automation, placing identity at the core of business security and growth.

At Okta, we celebrate a variety of perspectives and experiences. We are not looking for someone who checks every single box - we're looking for lifelong learners and people who can make us better with their unique experiences.

Join our team! We're building a world where Identity belongs to you.

About this role

We're building the future of how Okta and Auth0 generate pipeline - fast, focused, and signal-driven. As a Strategic Growth Manager, you'll turn raw signals and context into clear, testable GTM experiments and intel that AEs, SDRs, ABX, and Demand Gen can actually use.

If you love testing ideas, learning fast, and helping shape how high-performing teams grow - this one's for you.

You'll work side-by-side with the Director of Strategic Growth and ABX to translate strategy, frameworks, and mental models into concrete plans, and ensure experiments move from idea execution learning.

Why this role matters

You'll be central to the execution muscle behind a modern GTM engine - one rooted in signals, experiments, and repeatable pipeline plays. You'll move fast, learn a lot, and make a visible impact across Marketing and Sales.

What You'll Own

Growth Engine

Growth Experimentation

  • Turn strategic direction and business context into clear, testable hypotheses and outbound experiments.
  • Design and manage experiments aligned to business objectives with defined success criteria and timelines.
  • Use tools like Clay, 6Sense, PriorityEngine, and CommonRoom to build targeted accounts and scrape buyer intelligence to power those experiments.
  • Track experiment performance, analyze outcomes, and clearly call what worked, what didn't, and why.
  • Recommend whether to scale, refine, or stop experiments based on signal quality and business impact.

Signal Intel Briefs & Actionable Insights

  • Work with account-level and market signals (pipeline, product usage, hirings, M&A, regulatory and risk events, tech stack) to create rich, practical intel for GTM teams.
  • Apply and refine existing frameworks and mental models (you're not inventing from scratch, you're making them sharper, clearer, and more useful).
  • Translate complexity (identity stack, security incidents, whitespace, forcing functions) into simple narratives a seller can use in a conversation or email.
  • Pressure-test assumptions, spot gaps, and propose alternative paths to the same strategic outcome.

Systems, Process, and Collaboration

  • Build and maintain clean, repeatable workflows for experiments, intel, and handoffs using tools like Airtable, Asana, or similar.
  • Keep cross-functional partners (SDRs, AEs, PMM, digital, RevOps) aligned on "who's doing what, by when, and why it matters."
  • Capture learnings, decisions, and playbacks in a way that can be reused and scaled across regions, segments, or verticals.
  • Continuously look for ways to tighten how signals flow into experiments, and how experiments flow into pipeline.

What You Bring

  • 3+ years in sales operations, revenue operations, marketing operations, or GTM program/project management.
  • Strong project/program management skills - organized, proactive, and comfortable running multiple workstreams at once.
  • You thrive in systems thinking - building repeatable processes even as you adapt on the fly.
  • Comfortable working with data, enrichment tools, and unfamiliar GTM tools (Clay, CommonRoom, 6sense, Outreach, etc.).
  • Familiarity with GTM teams (SDRs, AEs, marketing) and how pipeline gets created, progressed, and reported.
  • Clear written communication - you can turn data, bullets, and links into a concise, usable narrative for sellers.

Traits We Care About

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Coachable - open to feedback, willing to be challenged, and quick to apply what you learn.
  • Hungry - takes initiative and looks for ways to contribute more without being asked.
  • Determined - follows through, closes loops, and pushes past obstacles.
  • Solution-oriented - focuses on how to move forward, not why it's hard.
  • Positive and resilient - can navigate ambiguity and pressure without losing momentum.
  • Resourceful - finds answers, tools, and workarounds without waiting to be told exactly what to do.
  • Relationship-driven - builds trust with sales, marketing, and ops partners.

Skills matter. Mindset matters more.

What Success Looks Like

Within your first 90 days, you:

  • Launch 3+ meaningful growth experiments from hypothesis through to learnings.
  • Create or refine account-level intel that sales actually uses in conversations and planning.
  • Keep experiments and intel projects on track without chaos or constant reminder.
  • Earn trust from SDRs, AEs, and marketing partners as someone whose work "just makes it easier to sell."
  • Demonstrate you can operate with a clear strategy and framework, not just a task list.

Beyond that, you:

  • Run experiments end-to-end with minimal guidance, from signal to insight to recommended next step.
  • Improve and evolve our existing models and frameworks instead of reinventing them.
  • Become a thought partner to the Strategic Growth leader, not just an executor.

How You'll Grow

Over time, this role can grow into:

  • Growth Program Manager or Growth Strategist.
  • Vertical or region pod lead (e.g., FinTech, SaaS, HealthTech).
  • Builder of a repeatable GTM experimentation engine for Okta/Auth0.

You'll work directly with the Strategic Growth leader, who is here to coach, challenge, and grow with you. You'll learn more about GTM experimentation, signals, and strategic intel in 6 months than most people do in 2 years.
