BMC Firmware Engineer
Austin, TX (100% Onsite)
12 + Months

Must-Have Skills (Top 3-5):
BMC firmware experience (OpenBMC, Dell iDRAC, HP iLO, etc.)
Strong C/C++ and Shell scripting
Linux kernel modules, drivers
Experience with server manageability firmware
Redfish / PLDM / MCTP (plus)

Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain OpenBMC firmware for reference boards
Collaborate with architects, BIOS, vendors, and QA teams
Debug, enhance, and upstream firmware to OpenBMC community
Deliver high-quality, on-time firmware with continuous improvements

Preferred Experience:
OpenBMC stack, Linux driver development
Low-level protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, JTAG, PCIe)
Git/Gerrit, gcc build & debug tools
JavaScript UI, networking concepts
Strong debugging and software development practices

Education & Experience:
BS in EE/CS/CE (or higher)
5+ years firmware development
3+ years manageability firmware experience
