Summary:

To assist the Clinical Manager/Director in supervision of day-to-day clinical operations, provide onsite support and facilitate clinical workflow activities and staff to achieve continuous and optimal patient care. Responsibilities:

*Provide supervision, guidance, and support for clinical staff.
*Facilitate communication between staff and management.
*Prepare work schedules, assign personnel, evaluate work performance and initiate/make recommendations for personnel actions.
*Maintain established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental and infection control standards.
*Maintain required records, and reports for Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) purposes.
*Organize, direct, and coordinate functions and activities in assigned areas.
*Adjust staffing to meet needs and to provide adequate coverage of clinical areas.
*Inspect areas daily for compliance with policies, procedures, regulations, and standards and takes appropriate action when violations occur in collaboration with Clinic Manager/Director.
*If clinically trained, may assist provider(s) with examinations, procedures and other processes related to direct patient care, as needed.
*Ensure adequate stock of supplies and proper functioning of equipment.
*Uses problem solving to recognize, anticipate and resolve clinical and patient care process problems in collaboration with the Clinic Manger/Director.
*Track and report on clinical metrics and outcomes.
*Participate in recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of new clinical staff.
*Coordinate with other departments to ensure integrated service delivery.
*Ensure staff attend all required meetings and training in the organization and within the clinic.
*Perform other functions as required.

Qualifications:

*High school diploma or equivalent required.
*Minimum of three years working in healthcare setting required.
*Minimum of three to five yearsA experience in a supervisory position (health-related environment or other relevant setting) preferred.
*Clinical training (MA, EMT, CNA, etc.) preferred.
*BLS (AHA, Red Cross or ASHI Healthcare Provider) required.
