The Johns Hopkins Hospital- The Pediatric/Adolescent Care Unit (Bloomberg 10N) is a combination of acute and intermediate levels of care. The staff cares for a full spectrum of acute and chronic medical and surgical patients and patients with chronic vents from the age of 0-21. The medical diagnosis includes sickle cell anemia, cystic fibrosis, asthma, diabetes, Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, chronic and acute renal failure and, neurological disorders to name a few. Our surgical diagnosis is general, neurologic, orthopedic and urologic. The unit specializes in chronic ventilation and diabetes.

Position Details:

Role: Pediatric/Adolescent Med/Surg Registered Nurse

Shift: 12- hour night shift

Qualifications:

• BSN/MSN from an accredited nursing program preferred. Applicants with an Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited program may be considered if enrolled in an accredited BSN/MSN program within one year of hire and completing the degree within five years.
• Active Maryland or Compact RN license is required
• BLS CPR certification required: AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted
• RN work experience required; prior pediatric nursing experience preferred

Salary Range: Minimum 36.31/hour - Maximum 56.28/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
