Position Summary: As the Manager of IT Operations, you will lead Dover's global data center, storage, hosting, and cloud operational services. In this role, you will be accountable for the reliability, performance, scalability, and security of core infrastructure services that support Dover's global employees and OpCos, including critical manufacturing operations, engineering environments, and business systems. The IT Operations Manager will report to the Director of IT Operations with direct peers of managers over network, end user computing, and collaboration teams. This role has a small team of direct and indirect reports across several time zones. You will manage this team of IT professionals responsible for day to day operations across on premises data centers, cloud environments, enterprise storage platforms, backup/DR capabilities, and foundational hosting services. You will ensure operational excellence through proactive monitoring, incident management, service continuity, lifecycle management, and ongoing optimization of the hosting and storage landscape. Equal emphasis will be placed on people management, technical leadership, process management, service delivery maturity, vendor governance, and continuous improvement of operational capabilities. Essential Key Responsibilities: * Lead day-to-day operations of global hosting, storage, backup, and data center services (on prem and cloud) including incident management, problem resolution, and root cause analysis. * As a key leader within Global IT Operations, you will drive the adoption of standardized architecture, best operational practices, and repeatable processes across Dover and its Operating Companies (OpCos). You will collaborate with architecture, security, strategic third-parties, vendors, application teams, and OpCo teams, including IT and business stakeholders, to ensure hosting and storage platforms meet performance, compliance, and business availability requirements. * You will play a critical role in guiding Dover's transformation toward modernized data center technologies, cloud-forward hosting strategies, automation, and enhanced resilience. This includes aligning roadmaps, coordinating infrastructure refresh programs, and ensuring new solutions transition smoothly into stable operations. * Oversee global hosting and storage infrastructure, ensuring high availability, resiliency, performance, and alignment with enterprise architectural standards and expectations. * Lead efforts, projects, and implementations for data centers, local infrastructure, cloud hosting platforms, and storage systems, including transformation, migrations, and participation in M&A activities. * Develop and enforce policies, procedures, and best practices for infrastructure operations, capacity management, data protection, and disaster recovery. * Manage vendor and other external relationships and service-level agreements (SLAs) for hosting and storage technologies, ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and contract compliance. * Act as a liaison between Dover IT, supplier-partners, functional owners, and Operating Company leaders to resolve conflicts, address operational issues, and support technology roadmap * Drive continuous improvement initiatives across infrastructure operations, including automation, monitoring enhancements, and operational efficiency gains. * Aligning with cybersecurity, application, and Operating Company teams globally to ensure secure, compliant, modern, and integrated hosting and storage solutions. * Integrally partner end-user services, collaboration, network, and other services teams to provide robust, technical, and innovative IT operations solutions * Lead and mentor global IT operations direct and indirect staff, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, exceptional experience, and technical excellence. * Provide excellent written and verbal communication to all internal and external stakeholders. * Ensure financial diligence for relevant efforts, projects, services, and technologies within the approved budgets, while looking for optimization opportunities and strategically investing in robust solutions. * Provide excellent IT Operations to Dover's internal and external stakeholders and customers. Qualifications / Requirements / Desired Characteristics: * Minimum of B.S. or equivalent in Information Technology (MIS, Computer Science, or similar discipline) or Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, Industrial, or General). * 6+ years' experience in relevant field, required. * Industry knowledge of infrastructure and best practice * Data Center and cloud hosting experience and certifications * Experience leading strategic contracting processes with technology focus / implications: RFI, RFP, MSA, Statement of Work; Supplier negotiation and Service Level Management experience * Ability to work well with vendors, internal constituents, and third party/internal compliance groups * Ability to influence & lead vendor negotiations and/or facilitate discussions with vendors and internal requestors/customers * Understanding of contracting processes and procedures including terms and conditions, pricing, statements of work, amendments, and NDA's * Experience running complex, global projects with various stakeholders (multi-function / multi-region) in a complex organization environment consisting of corporate and multiple operating companies * Ability to multi-task and perform in a dynamic environment * Strong sense of urgency, accountability and highly objective oriented * Highly organized and efficient in approaching tasks, a self-starter with ability to solve problems proactively * Clear, concise and articulate communication skills - verbal, written and listening * Interfaces with wide array of individuals, balances multiple tasks and maintains positive attitude and energy * Strong team player, work ethic and commitment to win right * Commitment to the development of others and mentoring-360 (up, down, lateral) * Business impact and employee experienced focused. Work Arrangement: Hybrid This position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.
