DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will support the management and day-to-day operations of the office, including the assignment, tracking, and oversight of litigation matters. You will serve as the Disability Benefits Arbitration Docketing Coordinator, responsible for developing arbitration schedules; coordinating with involved parties to schedule cases; issuing notices; and reserving necessary rooms and equipment. You will also provide litigation and general administrative support to the Chief Counsel and staff attorneys. This role requires sound judgment and strong organizational skills to effectively maintain the disability benefits arbitration docket and coordinate scheduling with agency attorneys, arbitrators, court reporters, and other stakeholders.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 2 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Mechanicsburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Two years of varied office management or staff work within a public or private legal office.
Additional Requirements:
- You must have at least two years of experience using Microsoft Word.
- You must have at least one year of experience using Microsoft Excel.
- You must have at least one year of experience handling and maintaining confidential information.
- You must have at least one year of experience using Adobe Acrobat Pro.
- You must have at least one year of experience answering phones and processing mail.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.
