As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will engage with shoppers and associates through clear communication, respond to concerns, and document activities with attention to detail. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances and exits, stock areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter theft, trespassing, and other prohibited activity.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior, loitering, and disorderly conduct, and respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following site procedures.
• Assist with access control and crowd management during peak shopping periods, special promotions, and/or high-traffic events, including directing customers to appropriate areas as needed.
• Complete detailed activity and incident reports, communicate observations to site management and Allied Universal leadership, and support coordination with local law enforcement and/or emergency services when requested.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.
• This is primarily a driving post.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
