What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal post orders, security-related procedures, and site-specific policies in a healthcare location, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Carry and handle assigned firearm and related equipment in accordance with applicable laws, training, and site policy, using sound judgment and clear communication.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and medical facility emergencies in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with hospital staff and law enforcement and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, identify hazards, and report conditions requiring attention.
• Control access and monitor security-related systems such as cameras, access control, and alarm panels, completing detailed reports and documenting incidents, patrols, and key activities per policy.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card/license.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
