As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols and inspections, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and service calls with calm professionalism. You will document activities, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to staff, members, and visitors by carrying out site-specific, security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
  • Maintain an armed post in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements, including properly handling and securing assigned equipment while on duty.
  • Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating communications with site contacts and public emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Complete timely reports and logs of patrol activity, incidents, and unusual conditions, and participate in required briefings and post orders updates.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 1 year of armed security-related and/or law enforcement and/or military experience.
  • Possess an armed guard card/license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
