Join Allied Universal at a government location supporting an access control post where you will greet employees and visitors, verify credentials, manage visitor check-in, and control entry points. You will conduct routine rounds of assigned areas, document security-related activity, respond to requests with clear communication, and use a computer and/or tablet for reporting. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors and staff while carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
• Control entry and exit points by verifying identification, issuing temporary badges, managing visitor logs, and directing guests to the appropriate destination in accordance with post orders.
• Monitor alarms, CCTV, and other security-related systems, and report irregular activity or maintenance issues through the established chain of communication.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, coordinating with on-site personnel, and contacting emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to identify hazards or unauthorized access points.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3+ years' combined law enforcement/military/security-related experience OR a college degree.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Have 5+ years of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
