Summary:

The Respirator Mask Fit Tech will provide basic occupational health services by managing the respiratory protection fitting, education, and training for employees within Cook Children's Health Care System (CCHCS). Must have a valid Texas driver's license with the ability to travel to our various clinic locations across the DFW area. Requires strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to work independently. This position will oversee the respiratory protection fitting services at the Occupational Health office and at various locations.

Hours: Mon. - Thur. (10 hour days) and be able to travel throughout DFW area to our various locations using company or personal vehicle.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Medical Assistant, EMT-P, LVN or similar with minimum 2 years experience.

  • Clinical and Medical Terminology knowledge.

  • Basic computer skills, a positive attitude, and good customer service skills.

  • Knowledge of OSHA 1910.134 Respiratory Protection (preferred)

Certification/Licensure:

  • Medical Assistant, EMT-P, LVN certification/licensure or similar.

  • Must possess a valid Texas driver's license, good driving record and auto insurance.
