Senior Reporting Analyst FP&A

Summary

Alvaria is seeking a Senior Reporting & Consolidations Analyst who will own and evolve our financial reporting across the organization and with external stakeholders. The ideal candidate combines rigorous analysis with solid technical accounting knowledge to deliver accurate, timely consolidated results, clear variance narratives, and executive-ready reporting packages for leadership, lenders, and the board. Your work standardizes KPIs, improves data quality, and turns complex performance drivers into actionable insights that guide decisions.

What you'll do

• Monthly close and consolidations
  • Lead multi-entity, multi-currency consolidated reporting, including eliminations and intercompany reconciliations
  • Deliver monthly and quarterly reporting packages with variance analysis and executive commentary
  • Partner with Accounting on close calendars, flux reviews, and adjustments impacting reported results
• Management reporting and KPIs
  • Build and deploy Planful reports, dashboards, and report books for leadership and budget owners
  • Establish and maintain standardized KPI definitions across revenue, margin, Opex, headcount, ARR, retention, and working capital
  • Implement data quality checks and reconcile actuals to plan/forecast
• Lender and board reporting
  • Prepare lender financial packages including liquidity and performance reporting
  • Support board materials and presentations with crisp narratives and visuals
• Systems and process enablement
  • Administer and optimize Planful structures, mappings, hierarchies, and versions
  • Maintain and improve NetSuite-to-Planful integrations to reduce manual reconciliations
  • Partner with Rev Rec, Sales Ops, Deal Desk, and IT/Business Apps to improve upstream data flows
• Cross-functional partnership
  • Translate complex financial and accounting topics into clear, actionable insights for executives and operators
  • Drive continuous improvement of reporting processes, documentation, and controls

What you'll bring

• Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 5-8+ years in FP&A or closely related consolidations/reporting roles
• Experience in a private equity-backed enterprise software/SaaS company
• Proficiency with Planful for reporting and planning, including report and dashboard deployment
• Familiarity with ASC 606 revenue recognition and SaaS metrics
• Strong GAAP knowledge with multi-entity, multi-currency consolidations
• Advanced Excel/Sheets; comfort working with large datasets
• Clear, executive-ready communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Tableau and Snowflake for data visualization and scalable data workflows
• SQL or BI tools experience
• Exposure to carve-outs, integrations, or system migrations
• CPA, CMA or CFA a plus
