Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents and you provide outstanding customer service to employees and visitors. This is a driving post, so you will operate a vehicle during patrols. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including both the business interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor and report any irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons or unusual occurrences, according to established procedures.
• Work in a variety of environments and conditions that may change depending on the specific site.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members.
• Complete required reports and logs in a timely and accurate manner as directed by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid are preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
