Product Owner - Cybersecurity (SIEM/SOAR Focus) Location: Denver, CO (Downtown) or Chicago, IL (Downtown) Compensation: $60-$70/hour (W2 only) Contract: 18 months (possible 6-month extension) Work Environment: Onsite 5 days/week About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to join one of the largest cybersecurity organizations in the financial industry. This role focuses on driving product vision and delivery for security solutions, with an emphasis on Agile practices and collaboration across technical and business teams. Top Skills - Must Haves: * 8+ years as a Product Owner in software development environments * Strong knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Scrum methodology, and SDLC * Ability to write clear user stories and manage product backlogs * Agile certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner) preferred * Previous experience in cybersecurity, ideally in vulnerability management or application security testing * Previous* SIEM/SOAR* experience is preferred Nice to Have: * Jira, Confluence * Agile transformation experience * Familiarity with .NET or Java development Responsibilities: * Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap * Own and maintain the product backlog; write actionable user stories with acceptance criteria * Act as liaison between stakeholders and development teams * Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, and reviews * Monitor KPIs and ensure delivery of business value * Stay current on industry trends and identify opportunities for innovation Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience * Experience with SAFe framework or PO/PM SAFe certification * Proven track record in Agile environments * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills * Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, or similar tools Why Join Us? * Work for one of the largest cybersecurity organizations in the financial industry * Opportunity to influence enterprise-scale security initiatives Compensation & Benefits Notice: We reserve the right to pay above or below the posted wage based on factors unrelated to sex, race, or any other protected classification.
