We're seeking a future team member for our Engineering (Developer) program. This role is located in Pittsburgh (PA), Lake Mary (FL), New York (NY), or Jersey City (NJ). BNY Analyst Program Our 24-month analyst program is a holistic talent development journey offering rotational experiences designed to prepare you for your future career. Through projects across the specific line of business, you will receive a panoramic view of BNY's entire global franchise, providing rare insight into the operation of one of the world's largest banks. In each of these roles, you will work on high-priority initiatives and develop a comprehensive set of analytical and interpersonal skills. As part of a highly selective program, you will gain unparalleled exposure to the senior leadership of BNY and its clients, while receiving personalized guidance and support from a peer mentor. Upon successful completion of the program, you will be considered for high impact roles in multiple functions. Production Services With our Follow the Sun philosophy, Production Services is "Always On" for our clients. We deliver a full IT Service Management lifecycle across applications and infrastructure support to provide a controlled and secure production environment. We ensure the operating model is aligned to the business lines and their technology needs simultaneously focusing on onboarding new client and ensuring existing customers get highest service level through: * Automation, Alerting, Monitoring, Operational Efficiency, and Stability. * Constantly evaluates opportunities to improve performance of the applications. * Monitors application gaps, improvements & functional automation through visibility to production environment. Engineer * Provide ongoing client stability * Deliver automation * Sustain and improve resiliency * Increase capacity * Reduce risk * Grow our Engineering mindset Primary Responsibilities: * Provide in depth troubleshooting for any developed software running in the clustered environment or monitor and manage the health of technology platforms and associate services * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute projects, ensuring all requirements are met * Service and maintain applications in expected turn-around times with a sense of urgency * Work with application teams to have application issues fixed, both short term and long term (root cause) *Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolutions to minimize production downtime * Identify areas for process improvement and develop strategies to optimize productivity * Establish and maintain effective communication channels with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and milestones * Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends and patterns, making data-driven decisions for process improvement * Provide technical guidance and support to team members, promoting a culture of learning and growth * Maintain, monitor, and support large and complex software systems in an operational 24X7 enterprise environment; analyze program logic and logistics; improve efficiency * Prepare and maintain documentation, including standard operating procedures and system configurations, for future reference * Acquire knowledge / agility to learn end to end SDLC lifecycle Preferred Skills: * Keen interest in problem solving and tackling new technology challenges; quick thinking and results focused * Ability to adapt to changing priorities and balance multiple tasks by effectively organizing the workload * Ability to work as part of a cross-cultural team including flexibility to support multiple locations when necessary * Excellent interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation and able to work independently or as part of a team * Knowledge of industry best practices and a commitment to staying updated on the latest trends and technologies Program eligibility: Must be enrolled in an accredited university/college pursuing a bachelor's degree or in a 4+1 programin Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technology discipline Graduating in Dec 2025or May 2026 (U.S.) Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better Does not require sponsorship for employment visa status (now or in the future) in the countrywhere applying. BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $52,000 and $100,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and company- sponsored benefit programs. This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance and market factors. | |
