Machine Assembly Technician

We are a leading manufacturer of high tech robotic dispensing and engraving machinery located in Mc Henry, Illinois, and we are currently looking for a Machine Assembly Technician.

JOB SUMMARY

• Build various pieces of equipment for robotic dispensing and engraving machinery
• Inspect and test products to ensure they meet specifications
• Work with team and manager to assemble automated machinery
• Will be troubleshooting, repairing and replacing mechanical components
• Will be working with several hand tools and testing equipment

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of experience building, assembling and or troubleshooting industrial machinery
• Must be proficient with electro/mechanical equipment troubleshooting
• Must have experience with electrical repair and troubleshooting
• Must be detail orientated and be able to communicate well
• Have good attendance, valid driver’s license and work well as team and individual
• Must have good mechanical skills with emphasis on safety and quality
• Must be PC literate and have the ability to work from prints, sketches and verbal instruction
• Be experienced with hand tools, electric tools and measuring tools

EXTRA CONSIDERATION FOR THE FOLLOWING

• Experience with machine tools / automation equipment
• Familiar with components such as bearings, slides, motors, etc.
• Experience with meters, test / diagnostic instruments
• Read blue prints & electrical schematics
• Understand pneumatic components & systems
• Wiring electrical panels
• Experience with servo motors
