Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital has 43 residency and fellowship programs with 454 residents and fellows. Corewell is the exclusive clinical partner of the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine, with more than 1,400 Beaumont doctors on faculty. Scope of Work Under the direction of the designated site leader, provides coordination, and acts as a resource for staff involved in general neurodiagnostic services. Assigns and monitors the quality and quantity of workflow to ensure timely completion of studies. Ensure that ordered neurodiagnostic procedures are performed according to departmental policies and procedural standards. The lead technician must have passed the examination by the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET) and proven competencies to obtain a credential in a minimum of (2) registries and/or certifications in electroencephalography (R. EEG T.), Certification for Long Term Monitoring (CLTM), and (CLTM or R. EP T.), Evoked Potential (R. EP T.), or Magnetoencephalography (CMEG). The lead technician must have a minimum of five years' experience in performing electroencephalography and provides neurodiagnostic tests for results and a descriptive analysis according to facility and policy and procedures. Strong well-developed communication skills are essential for this position. Performs neurodiagnostic procedures and other related duties as necessary, including student clinical instruction and new employee training as appropriate.
