As a Security Officer - Hospital Patrol in Falls Church, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a busy healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence for staff, patients, and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures in accordance with site-specific policies and protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare environment in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with emergency response activities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns.
• Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to established procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff and first responders to support the well-being of individuals on site.
• Provide visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances and offer reassurance to those in the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Hospital requires vaccines.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
