As a Security Officer - Tech Media Screener in Greenwood, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener in a dynamic tech and media environment, you will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests and personnel. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen individuals entering the location to help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited items, following established protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Monitor entrances and exits, verifying identification and/or credentials as required by site policies.
• Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to report and document any suspicious activity or incidents.
• Maintain a visible presence at screening points to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide assistance as needed.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with visitors, employees, and/or contractors regarding access procedures and site expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
