We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Specialist with a broad range of mechanical and troubleshooting abilities. This position will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery and equipment used in Hallmark's Leavenworth Production Facility.

As a Maintenance Specialist you will:



  • Repair, maintain, and install machinery and equipment
  • Assemble, level, and connect equipment (electrical, air, gas, water)
  • Dismantle and reassemble machines as needed
  • Modify or build new equipment to improve safety, quality, and efficiency
  • Train operators and supervisors on new or updated equipment
  • Work flexibly across different areas and always prioritize safety
  • Perform duties in accordance with sound safety practices.



The ideal candidates is:



  • Skilled in machinery repair, electrical work, and welding.
  • Proficient with electronics, schematics, and ladder logic.
  • Experience with lathe, milling machines, and industrial systems.
  • Strong in problem-solving, teamwork, and communication.
  • Able to read blueprints, follow safety procedures, and handle hazardous materials.



The hours for this position are Monday - Friday 3:30p - 12:00p.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS



  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years related experience that successfully demonstrates mechanical and electrical ability.
  • Ability to push, pull, grasp, lift and carry items weighing up to 50-100 lbs frequently and 100+ lbs occasionally.
  • Ability to constantly stand and walk. Ability to frequently bend, twist, kneel, squat, climb, and reach at/above shoulder level.
  • Ability to frequently work in awkward positions and occasionally work from ladders.
  • Must have basic computer skills.



This position is located in Leavenworth, Kansas. Relocation is not provided.
