Rockville, Maryland Pay From: $ 40 per hour MUST: Experienced Registered Nurse 3 plus years of professional experience 2+ years of administering IV's experience required Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Maryland Experience in oncology preferred but not required Must be comfortable administering chemotherapy treatments Must have excellent communication skills Experience with OnCo EMR preferred but not required DUTIES: Administer chemotherapy medications and, if not already experienced, demonstrate willingness to learn and perform chemotherapy drug preparation. Assess, manage, and treat cancer-related symptoms including pain, nausea, fatigue, and other treatment side effects. Provide education, support, and counseling to patients and their families throughout the course of care. Collaborate closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, comprehensive patient care. Organize and oversee patient schedules, treatment plans, and follow-up appointments. Triage and respond to patient calls, addressing questions and concerns related to cancer treatments and ongoing care. Complete medical documentation and forms related to patients' cancer care, disability needs, and requests from other healthcare providers or facilities.
