Position Title: TIG/MIG Welder
Wage: $25-$33/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:30am-3pm QPS is partnering with a leading client in Whitewater, WI to find skilled Welders who are ready to bring their talent to a team that values craftsmanship, quality, and innovation. TIG/MIG Welder Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Read and interpret complex blueprints to form and fabricate sheet metal components - Set up equipment and weld parts using arc, MIG, TIG, and/or gas welding processes - Repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts as needed - Inspect welded components for defects and ensure all parts meet quality standards TIG/MIG Welder Requirements: - High school diploma or GED - Strong general mechanical aptitude - 2+ years of MIG/TIG welding experience, ideally in a smaller shop setting with frequent changeovers - Ability to read and follow complex blueprints and manufacturing orders - Prior welder-related experience preferred QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
