You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, and communicate with team members to support a secure environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing dispatch protocols and communication tools.
• Monitor and coordinate security-related operations from a central dispatch post within a commercial real estate location.
• Communicate with on-site personnel and field officers to relay information, instructions and updates regarding incidents and routine activities.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of all calls, incidents and dispatch activities.
• Support regular and random patrols by coordinating with field staff around the business and perimeter, as required by site protocols.
• Assist in helping to deter unauthorized activities by maintaining awareness of site operations and promptly reporting suspicious behavior.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
