We are looking for a Director, Private Banking in our downtown Salt Lake City, UT location.

  • Directs customized private banking financial advisory and services including asset management, trust services, and financial planning for High-Net-Worth and Ultra-High-Net-Worth clients.
  • Requires a deep understanding of private banking, investment strategies, and wealth management and ensures a full range of services are appropriately provided to High-Net-Worth individuals.
  • Develops strategies to market and deliver private client services to targeted markets.
  • Actively manages toward achievement of deposit and revenue goals.
  • Establishes and executes operating processes and procedures to comply with lending, deposit and other key risk areas.
  • Ensures that all private banking activities comply with regulatory standards, bank policies, and risk management guidelines.
  • Remains informed about relevant regulatory changes and ensures the proper implementation of any necessary adjustments to client portfolios or advisory processes.
  • Collaborates closely with the wealth management team to ensure that clients receive comprehensive financial planning and investment advice tailored to their unique needs.
  • Responsible to hire, fire and performance management of staff.
  • Maintains appropriate FINRA licenses for the role.
  • Other duties as assigned.



Qualifications:

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of managing high-net worth client relationships or other directly related experience. A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.
  • Senior level managerial, motivational, budgeting and project management experience preferred. Maintains FINRA licenses consistent with the role.
  • Requires an in-depth knowledge of banking products and services for High-Net-Worth clients.
  • Demonstrated sales and business development ability, expert client financial advisory skills and strong marketing and customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated expert knowledge of High-Net-Worth targeted financial products and banking regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal and management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, problem solving and organizational skills and creative abilities.
  • Must be extremely detail-orientated and able to prioritize.
  • Proficient in personal computer applications.
