KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Ignition - Oracle to join our Tax Ignition practice.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage projects and teams delivering tax process improvement, data management, and related tax process transformation services for domestic and international tax departments; utilize a convergent skill set of both technical tax and process/technology; work closely with KPMG's Workday and Oracle-focused Finance Transformation practices
  • Work with tax department clients to understand their overall operational, data, and information requirements across the tax lifecycle in order to design, create, and implement standardized Workday and Oracle tax solutions
  • Integrate Oracle Tax Reporting Cloud with upstream Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) source systems such as Financial Close, Planning and Budgeting, Profitability and Cost Management, various Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, and other financial systems
  • Implement improved tax department processes through a strong working experience and overall knowledge of utilizing the Workday and Oracle ERP/EPM platforms for tax data management, standardization, automation, and integration
  • Create and maintain client project plans and other project management functions, including liaising with other Ignition specialists, Tax, Advisory practice, and client project teams; develop, motivate, and train staff-level team members
  • Develop and train clients and KPMG team members on the use of Oracle Tax Reporting Cloud and provide ongoing client support; act as an Oracle subject matter specialist for KPMG

Qualifications:
  • Minimum five years of a recent combination of corporate tax and tax technology experience in an audit, tax, or advisory services firm, corporation, law firm, or other service provider
  • Licensed CPA, JD, LLM, PhD, MBA, or Master's in computer science from an accredited college/university; CISA (Certified Info Systems Auditor); CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional); CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner); CFF (Certified in Financial Forensics); CORPTAX (CORPTAX Certified Professional); TCERTIMP (Thomson Certified Implementer); Alteryx Analytics Designer Core and Alteryx Designer Advanced; ACA (Chartered Accountant) with Lean Six Sigma (White Belt acceptable); SIX SGMA (Six Sigma Certification), in addition to others on KPMG's approved credential listing; any individual who does not possess at least one of the approved designations/credentials when their employment commences, has one year from their date of hire to obtain at least one of the approved designations/credentials; should you like to see the complete list of currently approved designations/credentials for the hiring practice/service line, your recruiter can provide you with that list
  • Working experience in delivery Oracle and/or Workday based solutions to tax department within an enterprise environment
  • Demonstrated application of analytical skills with strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work well, both autonomously and collaboratively, in a team with KPMG's subject matter specialists
  • Well-established track record of client development and solutions, and capability to travel to client locations as needed
  • Excellent organizational, oral, and written communications and people skills, attention to detail, able to multi-task, follow through and work independently as well as within a team structure
