System Administrator The System Administrator provides technical support for JECC workstation and networked peripheral environments. The role includes system installation, configuration, operations, Tier 1-2 troubleshooting, account and permissions management, and support for both NIPR, SIPR, JWICS, and various service-provider-managed operating environments. The System Administrator works closely with Government service providers and serves as a key member of the C5 support team enabling JECC's operational mission. Key Responsibilities * Perform installation, operations, troubleshooting, maintenance, and system removal of JECC-managed servers. * Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 system administration support. * Manage user accounts and permissions across NIPR/SIPR domains, Office 365, SharePoint Online, and other systems. * Install, configure, maintain, and remove desktop and laptop systems and networked peripherals. * Maintain compliance with security requirements and update baseline images. * Use approved government ticketing systems and support reporting requirements. * Support IT operations for exercises, deployments, conferences, and events. Required Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field. * Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in system administration or enterprise IT operations. * Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. * Experience with DoD networks (NIPR/SIPR/JWICS), enterprise Microsoft environments, and imaging tools. * Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. Preferred Qualifications * DoD 8140 baseline certifications (Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, CYSA+). * Experience with DISA, USTRANSCOM, or other DoD IT environments. * Experience with PKI, SIPR Token Management, and secure system handling. Working Conditions * Onsite support at Government facilities. * Support during standard duty hours with on-call availability for contingency or mission-critical events. * Occasional CONUS/OCONUS travel. | |
