Job Purpose We are looking for a Director, Controller for our Fabrication Division. This position reports directly to the VP Finance & Controller, North America. The position will be based in Fremont, California at the Fabrication headquarters. Nature of Duties/Responsibilities The successful candidate will have strong leadership and management skills to drive important projects for the division as well as mentor and support the finance team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with reviewing accounting journal entries and also diving into cost accounting details, executing profitability analysis, and communicating the results to operations executives. It is essential to have unwavering commitment to financial governance within the Fabrication Division while adhering to SOX requirements and Sanmina's financial policies and procedures. Actual base pay within this range (determined at the offer stage) will be based on a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills, and is just one element of our total rewards package. Job Descriptor Controller : Coordinates, administers, and controls financial operations. Provides tax, insurance and other reports required by governmental regulations. Reviews, analyzes, and interprets financial and budgetary reports. Directs all aspects of accounting operations and the preparation of annual financial forecasts. Oversees the development of financial accounting systems required to maintain reporting requirements. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. | |
