As Nokia's growth engine, we lead the shift to cloud-native software and as-a-service models for global customers. As a 4LS Engineer, you will provide advanced support, troubleshoot complex issues, and optimize workloads. You'll integrate and test products, automate operations, and develop strategies for distributed cloud-native systems built on open-source technologies. This role offers the chance to apply your engineering expertise to design and deliver globally deployed solutions that enhance customer experience.

  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and develop internal Ops tools,
  • Handle Level 4 tickets and provide 24/7 ROTA engineering support,
  • Support deployments and maintain lab environments,
  • Implement platform services and build observability/serviceability concepts,
  • Design and document operational processes for collaboration and end-user enablement,
  • Develop big data processing, streaming, and storage solutions,
  • Drive continuous product improvement, share expertise, and coach team members.
  • Explore and apply the latest tech trends, including Operational AI use cases.

Must have:

  • Strong Ops-side DevOps experience in SaaS/CaaS environments, with a focus on automation and observability,
  • Expertise in Linux, networking (TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, HTTP, gRPC, proxies), and troubleshooting performance issues,
  • Skilled in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), IaC, IT automation, and leveraging cloud-managed services,
  • Familiar with virtualization, open-source tools, and modern DevOps toolchains; contributions to OSS are valued,
  • Hands-on approach with structured problem-solving, excellent communication, and passion for cutting-edge tech.

Nice to have:

  • Previous Nokia internship or co-op experience is preferred.
