- Integrate hardware and software systems using Agile, DevOps, and DevSecOps methodologies.
- Lead engineering tasks supporting HM&E systems and associated cybersecurity requirements.
- Engage in the design, analysis, development, and implementation of advanced engineering solutions across distributed computing and cybersecurity environments.
- Support the development and enhancement of machine learning, artificial intelligence, and HPC-based code and workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, cybersecurity, and program teams to support project execution and delivery.
- Provide subject matter expertise to ensure system functionality, performance, and compliance with program and Navy standards.
- Contribute to documentation, reporting, and technical reviews in alignment with contract deliverables and engineering policies.
Qualifications: Education/Certifications/Experience/Skills:
- BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering from an ABET accredited program, or BS Degree in one of the following fields: Computer Science, Data Science, Information Sciences, Artificial Intelligence, or Machine Learning.
- 5+ years of professional experience integrating hardware and software using Agile and/or DevOps/DevSecOps, in a professional or academic setting.
- IAT Level III Certification: CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate).
- Must possess and maintain a government security clearance at the Secret level.
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft programs (including Excel, Word, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, and Project).
- Must be able to perform all functional duties independently.
- Must be able to transport self to various facility sites, as required. If using own motor vehicle, must possess a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
Preferred:
- At least one year of professional experience developing HPC code.
- Experience developing Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence.
- Experience in MATLAB, R, Python, or other analytical programming languages.
- Experience with Navy software development efforts.
- Familiarity with Navy cybersecurity environments.
