Shift: 2nd shift
Pay: $25-$30/hour (based on experience)

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Painter to join our 1st shift Paint Team. This role is critical to ensuring the quality, durability, and professional finish of steel fabrications produced for a wide range of OEM clients. Position Overview:
The Industrial Painter is responsible for mixing paints to exact customer specifications, priming and finishing steel fabrications, and ensuring proper dry film thickness. All parts are blasted to a minimum SPC-6 finish and require masking and protection of machined surfaces and threaded holes. As the final inspector in the production process, the painter plays a vital role in ensuring safety, quality, and reliability of every part we ship.
Key Responsibilities
  • Mix paints accurately to meet customer requirements.
  • Prime and finish paint steel fabrications efficiently while achieving required dry film thickness.
  • Mask and protect machined surfaces and threaded holes before painting.
  • Perform visual inspections as the last quality check before products leave the department.
  • Conduct routine equipment maintenance, keep painting tools in proper working condition, and troubleshoot issues when needed.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
  • Ensure all work meets high quality and safety standards, recognizing that many parts are critical structural components.
  • Communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors regarding any quality or process concerns.
Qualifications
  • Several years of experience painting steel fabrications (required).
  • Strong knowledge of paint mixing, priming, finishing, and film thickness requirements.
  • Ability to work with repetitive product lines as well as one-time custom fabrications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively within a team.
  • Reliable attendance and a positive, respectful attitude every day.
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work area.
